What are the different experiences available?

Spear offers a signature wine tasting where you will savor a selection of Spear wines while being surrounded by vineyards. Should you wish to enhance your experience, we offer options for a private tour of the vineyard and winery, gourmet lunch, and accoutrements.

What does your booking Include?

Your booking includes a wine tasting and taxes. A winery tour, gourmet lunch, and food pairings are available for purchase at an additional cost. Please arrive within 10 minutes of your booking time or we may be unable to serve you.

Do you allow walk-ins?

The quality of your visit is important to us. To provide you and your guests with the best experience possible, we conduct tours and tastings on an appointment-only basis.

May we bring our lunch to enjoy at the winery?

We offer a small selection of food options at the winery and kindly ask that you do not bring in any outside food. Please give us a call at 805-737-1829 to inquire about our food offerings.

Are pets allowed at the winery?

While we love animals, we are a working winery and to ensure the safety of your pets, we ask that you please leave your furry friends at home.

Are children allowed at the winery?

To ensure a relaxing and intimate experience for our guests, we kindly ask that all guests at the winery are 21 years of age or older.

What happens if I am running late?

Contact 805-737-1829 if you are running late. Please note that arriving more than ten minutes late may result in missing part of your experience.

Is parking available?

Ample parking is available on-site.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies?

We gladly accommodate most dietary restrictions and food allergies for our gourmet lunch offerings with advanced notice. Please email any allergies and dietary restrictions to visit@spearwinery.com and include your confirmation number.

Is this tasting experience private? Or is it communal seating?

Presently our wine tasting and tour is a private occasion to ensure a fully focused experience.

Can I reschedule or cancel my reservation if I am no longer able to come?

Per the policy stated on our website, all sales are final and non-refundable. You may transfer your reservation to another guest, however, requests to reschedule or cancel a reservation are at the sole discretion of management. We kindly ask for a minimum notice of 72-hours for any request to cancel or reschedule. For assistance, please email visit@spearwinery.com

What is your cancellation policy for wine tasting experiences?

All of our wine tasting experience fees are fully refundable up to 72 hours in advance of the appointment, and non-refundable thereafter. If your plans change and you need to change or cancel your appointment, please reach out to visit@spearwinery.com

How do I transfer a booking?

To transfer a booking, log into your Tock account at profile.tocktix.com. Once logged in, select "Your Bookings" on the upper right. To transfer a booking, click the "Transfer" button next to the specific booking. Note, you can only transfer bookings to another guest who has a Tock account.

Can I give my booking away instead of transferring it on this site?

Because we contact all guests before they dine with us, we request that all bookings are formally transferred through our site. Log in to your account, navigate to “My Account”, select “Your Booking” and click the “Transfer” button next to the experience you would like to transfer.

I've scheduled the wrong date! What now?

Email visit@spearwinery.com with your Tock confirmation number of the reservation you wish to cancel and let us know the new date you would like to join us. We will check availability and do our best to accommodate you. Please note, we require a minimum of 72-hours advanced notice for all requests to reschedule requests. All reschedules are subject to availability.

I don't see availability for my party size. What are my options?

Please join the wait list or call the winery at 805-737-1829 or email us at visit@spearwinery.com if you have a party larger than 8 so we may try our best to accomodate you. This is updated in real time, and we will be in touch with you if an opening becomes available.
